Eloise Rapp is a designer and sustainability worker specialising in localised fibre systems, textile production and material transitions. With 15 years experience in fashion, interiors and education, she challenges dominant and harmful models to reimagine a future where the balance between social value, ecological care and design practice is restored.

In 2021 she founded design + research studio, Push Pull Textiles, to explore restorative approaches to textile creation. She has since advised leading brands, social enterprises and cultural organisations on strategy and transformation across material systems. With formative study and cross-cultural research in Japan and Taiwan, Eloise has a distinct global perspective on craft and sustainability. She has served as Visiting Practitioner at Tainan National University of the Arts (TNNUA) and as a two-time Guest Curator for The Japan Foundation, producing celebrated exhibitions and public programs on material culture.

Eloise’s commitment to collective action extends to her work with social enterprises. Her strategic leadership with The Social Outfit, supporting refugee women to establish careers in Australian fashion, drove visibility and growth. As a Professional Fellow with Nest, a U.S. nonprofit supporting the global handmaker economy, she mentored emerging ethical enterprises in developing resilient business strategies.

Her work has been exhibited locally and internationally at the Australian Tapestry Workshop, Australian Design Centre, Firstdraft Gallery, JCCAC Hong Kong, Crafted Vancouver and Raw Assembly.
